Gardenia Visit

>> Friday, March 6, 2009

Hey guys! I'm here to share with you my industrial trip to Gardenia factory in Shah Alam. Yes! It's Gardenia, the bread factory! To all bread lovers out there, Gardenia factory is super COOL! We are not allow to take any pictures inside the factory but trust me, it's clean. Maybe because Wednesday was their maintenance day that's why it's so clean.

The journey to Shah Alam from uni is around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival, there's this lady who brought us in. She's a very friendly lady. Along the way to the office entrance, we smell BREAD! That made us hungry! Until we stepped into the office, we smell bread everywhere. That smell is just undescribable. *yummy*

We were shown an introduction video of Gardenia for about 20 minutes then we went into the manufacturing site. We didn't go down to where the workers are working due to hygiene reasons. Other than the rusted baking trays, I'm very satisfied with the whole factory. Refreshment were prepared for us. Each of us were given 2 Twiggies!

As usual, students had their camwhore session. So do we! Before we say goodbye, we had a group picture too! Have a look! Enjoy!
