It's the first day of the semester and it's not good because I don't have internet connection. Therefore, we decided to have a thorough cleaning at home since we have NOTHING to DO!

Swan, Eugene and I started cleaning around 2.30pm and ended around 5.30pm. 3 hrs of cleaning is really tiring! We started off by shifting stuff out of the house. Then, remove or rather dispose unwanted items into the garbage bag.

Next, i started the vacuuming process and it lasted me freaking long because there were 3 lizards! Friends who know me well enough will surely be able to predict how it was like when I encounter these evil thingy!

**fast forward** Done cleaning and mopping the living hall and we paused.. Thinking whether should we clean the kitchen as well or should we wait for Chong Ee to clean it? Swan hesitated and started doing part of the cleaning as she knows our beloved friend will not be bothered to clean any further. Haha!

Do not ask how the hall become so empty and where all the stuff disappeared to because it is never meant to be revealed! *winks* Anyway, at the end of the cleaning, we ended up with 3 super big bags of garbage!

It's really so so clean that we don't mind sitting on the floor but we were all very tired. Before showering, we had few rounds of mahjong before heading up to clean ourselves for dinner.

All in all, I love my day spent with my housemates! We had fun during the cleaning session, we had funny jokes during mahjong sessions and definitely our dinner was great. Treasure it while you still can because the ultimate nightmare is about to began!

The Day after My Final Exam Day

WooHoo! My exam is finally over! Today, mum, bro and I headed to The Curve to do some shopping! Guess what we got today?

Items bought:

1. T-shirt (mine)

2. Kitchen Curtain (mum's)

3. 4 pairs of heels (mum's + mine )

4. 2 pairs of working heels (mum's)

5. Nikkor 50mm f1.8 (bro's + mine)

6. Collar (Lucky's)

7. Specs (mine)

We got all of the above in 4 hours of shopping. We had tea at Theobrama Chocolate Lounge and later on at Juice Works. Our day was awesome! Of course my new toy - 50mm f1.8 brought us much JOY! I love my specs too! Will update more later..

Back in Action

Hey guys! I haven't been dropping by for quite some time since beginning of this year.. There are so much to talk about but I have no idea how or where to start with.. I think I shall briefly describe my period of examination!

Honestly speaking I don't think I studied much compared to my friends but definitely I understand well enough before entering the hall. I was back on the 8th of Jan and my first paper was on the 14th! Waste and Waste Water Treatment is my first paper this semester. Initially we thought it was hard because we never pay attention to Mr. Sivakumar's classes (we even skipped some of it!).

Back to revision, we headed to Old Town 2 consecutive days for revision as there is wifi and aircon. Progress was rather ok and thankfully, the paper was do-able as we had a Q & A session before the paper and practically all the questions came out! WooHoo! Praise God!

That day was a day where my bro watched this local production called woohoo!. It's a great movie to catch before CNY! Anyway, my bro got punked by my mum! It was so so funny! Will update on that soon!

I went back after paper so that I can attend cell on friday. Everything was fun! And you know fun never come alongside with studies. There goes my weekend! Anyway, this year things are getting more serious as we wouldn't want to be those who only come to cell just for the company but for God! To learn more bout His word. Jee Wang shared the word last Friday and he asked us how much do we know God? What do you think? Do you think you know Him well? The following 2 papers were some killer paper where I didn't really touch it because I sort of given up! Oh well, I still studied and did some past year papers.

On Monday, we had revision in the library. Swan and I left uni earlier and went home by bus. There was this stranger who drove passed us.. Topless! Read this and u shall know more. All in all, beware!

Dr. Law Chung Lim, our Safety Engineering lecturer is always unpredictable! Paper was obviously nothing similar to past year. Event tree wasn't expected to be seen in paper came out. Oh well~ I just hope I didn't do too badly. Anyway, after paper, we all started chiong-ing for RED which stands for Reactor Design. Anything to do with designing usually comes with tonnes of equations, and I really HATE it!

Oh well, exam was rather easy for everyone but this does not apply to me. I think I might even FAIL this paper as I was having bad headache and my brain just went blank. I totally have no idea how to continue. Sigh! What happened? I was really depressed after my paper. Thinking that when everyone score like mad for this paper and I might FAIL! WHAT!!

I told myself that I have to really work hard for the last paper. It really matters a lot to me. In order to cover up my RED, MCS is needed to be way above average! Paper is on this saturday, my very last paper! I pray that I will do well so I will be able to enjoy well too!

Hey guys! Bet I have been enjoying too much.. Since the first day of break till now I barely studied.. SIGH! *guilty* I think I should really leave.. As in staying away from internet activities.. FOR REAL!

The Last Year of the Previous Decade

Hey people! How was the last bit of 2009? Bet some of you went for countdown ba. Countdown is a lil too young for me I guess? Haha.. Feeling old. Oh well, I went to church for watchnight service at 10pm, 31st Dec 2009! It was a 2 hours service. Short but meaningful! *love it*

Before heading to church, we went to One U for dinner! For my very first time in my life, I had Nando's. I know some of you might think. "Gosh! Sad la you.. How can you not tasted Nando's before?" But that's really my first time! Everything was ok except the service! It's HORRIBLE!

After service, Elisha, Tzyy Jeng, bro and I went to McD to have a drink. Time flies~ We talked non stop and not noticing the time, I have to leave already. Not wanting dad to worry more, we left! We definitely had a great time catching up there!

Lastly, I would like to end this first post of the year with a prayer.

Dear Lord,

Thank you LORD for blessing me abundantly this year! It has been fruitful and I know I have been stretched! I've learnt to share. I've learnt to give. I've learnt to be patient. I've learnt to love. I've learnt to forgive. I've learnt to not mind too much how people think of me for that is beyond my control. In the last few weeks of 2009, I've been taught and reasoned by someone special in a very special way that I can hardly "win" when I'm in anger. Somehow, I just couldn't find a reason to say "NO" to that reasoning! Oh well, I've been CHALLENGED! I pray that you will continue to bless and lead this person to grow in your likeness. I pray that you will watch over my family. Cover your shield of protection over this home. I pray that you will continue to stretch me this year so that I can continue to shine for You, do small things that can glorify your name.. Today, I'am reminded of this passage..

"My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life of God desires."

James 1:19-20

Keep me close to you, Father. I love you and I'll always do! Bless me and grant me wisdom in whatever I do. Keep me reminded that whatever I do, I do it for You because of Your will and not man's will. So that in all that I do, it will be pleasing unto You. All this I pray in Jesus most precious name, AMEN!
